The pieces are falling into place for James Bond 25, that will see Daniel Craig reprise the role of 007 for what’s likely to be the last time. Eon Productions had announced a November 2019 release date previously, but outside of Craig, no firm details of personnel had been forthcoming. However, it’s becoming clearer just how the movie will shape up.
Danny Boyle is now all but certain to direct, although he’s got another movie to shoot this summer first. John Hodge has been working on the screenplay for the movie. Craig, though, has now officially confirmed that the new Bond film will be his next movie, although he’s been coy as to Boyle’s involvement, simply smiling when asked and saying “we’ll see, we’ll see”.
Filming is expected to begin towards the end of the year. By then, we should have a title, and further details of the movie’s cast. More as we get it.
